Tom Cruise got his major film start in Endless Love back in 1981. His character gave the main character a very bad idea. You see, the main character was obsessed with this girl and he pushed too hard to be included and accepted by her family. This is a problem for some people. Other examples might be Jay Gatsby and even Gaylord Focker. Only Focker got the girl in the end. It didn't go well in Endless Love or The Great Gatsby. This song was influenced by that type of obsession - A Hopeless Sentiment. Released in November 2026. Written, performed, recorded and mixed by John Hitzroth. No A.I. - Ever!
